The effect of mental and muscle fatigue on spatial working memory

Introduction: Fatigue is a gradual and cumulative process. This mindset related to the lack of motivation make any effort, as well decreased efficiency, attentiveness, and, eventually, malfunction. Aim: The present study aims investigate how mental muscle fatigue affects spatial working memory. Method: research method was quasi-experimental performed using pretestposttest design. participants in this were 20 30 year old male students Shahid Beheshti University Tehran 2021, whom, 14 subjects selected by convincing sample G-Power approach previous investigations. Mental Self-Assessment Scale, Corsi Block software, Stroop Monark Bike Ergometer utilized. In addition, repeated measurement analysis variance test SPSS-23 used analyze data. Results: results indicated that condition had significant effect on memory (P=0.002); has reduced efficiency But conditions no assessing memory, these there better performance (P=0.065). Conclusion: findings emphasize importance reducing performance, even though type cognitive cerebral functioning. Accordingly, are line with top-down approach, perspectives such generalized motor program theory.
